What does the Solo license cover?

One named person. You can use every file in the kit for your own work, including hiring at your employer or for your own clients, on as many devices as you like. You can adapt the templates and use them with candidates.

You can’t share the files with colleagues. If more than one person on your team will use the kit, buy the Team license.

What does the Team license cover?

One company’s hiring team: everyone at that company who interviews, screens, recruits or makes hiring decisions, plus contractors working on that company’s hiring. You can store the kit in your internal wiki, drive or Notion workspace, and adapt it freely for internal use.

One company means one legal entity and its wholly owned subsidiaries. Recruiting agencies: the Team license covers your agency’s own staff. You can use the questions and templates with candidates and send clients documents you’ve built from them, but you can’t pass the kit files themselves to clients.

What isn’t allowed under either license?

Reselling, sublicensing or giving away the kit or any substantial part of it.
Publishing the content publicly (for example on a blog, course, or public repository), beyond short quotations with attribution.
Using the content to build a competing product, course or paid service.
Training or fine-tuning AI models on the content for redistribution.

Candidate-facing text you’ve adapted from the templates (policies, emails, job-post wording) can of course be sent to candidates and published in your job posts.

Refunds

If the kit isn’t useful, reply to your Gumroad receipt within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked. Your license ends when the refund is issued.

Is the kit legal advice?

No. The kit is practical guidance on interview design. Where it touches law (for example recording consent, biometric data, automated hiring tools, background checks, attestation and offer clauses) it says so, but employment and privacy law varies by country and state. Check with qualified counsel before relying on any clause or process.

Warranty and liability

The kit is provided as is. We make no promise that using it will prevent fraud or produce any particular hiring outcome. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the kit.

We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms in place when you bought apply to your purchase.
